The trainees at our DIAKO training center Emma and Karl Hübel - School for Care Professions and Geriatric Nursing Assistants - celebrated their successful completion of the generalist elder care training today. This is already the second year of the course with the new job profile, in which the previously separate training occupations for geriatric nursing, nursing and pediatric nursing have been combined.

"Generalist elder care training is no longer new, but is becoming more and more established," says Pastor Oswald Beuthert, spokesman for our DIAKO management, who is pleased about the many people who are choosing to work in elderly care. "Elderly care for older people and those in need of care is not only a task that we as a society must do well, but also a very rewarding one." Because, Beuthert continues, people are very grateful to the elder care workers in their need. "Taking up a career in elder care is a meaningful task and work. I congratulate all qualified elder care professionals on this."
