Team group photo for the employee anniversary

With a prayer service and subsequent ceremony, our employees who are celebrating a service anniversary this year were honored.

"A solid education and a good portion of experience have always been the recipe for success in work and a fulfilling professional life. A good degree of consistency crowns both pillars," said our Managing Director Stefan Kiefer during the celebrations. "We are delighted to celebrate these long-serving employees for all of this and are very grateful that, with their dedication, they have been paving the way for people with us for many years."

What was particularly pleasing was that this year, in addition to numerous employees who were honored for 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years of service, there were even five employees - Edith Mähl, Anja Scheidereit, Vera Peeters, Elvira Dippel and Heike Helmke - who have been working for the people of the region in our DIAKO facilities for 35 years.

Joy and sorrow shared

"It speaks volumes about an employer when employees stay with them for a long time. Therefore, it is not only a pleasure for us to extend special congratulations to our long-serving employees, but it is also an honor for us as an employer that our employees have remained loyal to us for so long," said Pastor Oswald Beuthert (spokesperson for our DIAKO management). Together, Beuthert continued, they have achieved much for the people of the region over the years of cooperation; they have shared joys and sorrows and helped people live a good life. "We are very grateful for this."

Great appreciation

To honor the employees for their long-standing loyalty, a very special festive setting was created in the large hall of the Helenenheims been elected. "Tonight is important to us to put our anniversary celebrations in the spotlight," says Stefan Kiefer.

This great appreciation for the employees was also evident during the subsequent ceremony honoring the jubilees – who received certificates, flowers and gifts from Pastor Oswald Beuthert and Stefan Kiefer, as well as, in some cases, silver or gold crown crosses.

Finally, the anniversary celebrations concluded with a festive buffet, where many memories of the past years of service were shared in a convivial atmosphere.
